How does CHRT work to realize its mission to transform research and evidence into actionable policy approaches to advance evidence-based health care delivery, the health of the population, and access to care?
Over the last decade, CHRT has produced over 85 policy-relevant issue briefs that have been downloaded more than 150,000 times and we have graduated over 50 fellows from our annual policy fellowship.
Policy makers from all perspectives, business leaders, consumer groups, and provider organizations use CHRT’s resources to better understand health care trends and to make key decisions on program and policy opportunities.
CHRT issue and survey briefs continue to reach and have impact for decision makers throughout the health and health care system, as well as for the public at large. National media outlets and health policy commentators, from National Public Radio and The Incidental Economist to Politico and USA Today, have cited CHRT’s findings in describing national health policy trends. In 2015, over 25,000 people visited CHRT’s website, collectively viewing our publications more than 150,000 times.
CHRT’s Fellowship program elevates each policy maker’s knowledge to enable more effective, evidence-based health policy decisions.
