Jamie Zaniewski
Policy Advisor , Senate Majority Policy Office
Jamie is a Policy Advisor in the Senate Majority Policy Office. Jamie advises the Republican caucus on issues related to insurance and regulatory reform. Jamie also staffs two department budgets: Licensing and Regulatory Affairs (LARA) and the Department of Insurance and Financial Services (DIFS).
Prior to joining the Senate Majority Policy Office, Jamie was the Contract Administrator for Beaumont Health System. In that role Jamie worked closely with Medicaid and commercial insurance providers, negotiating the rates and terms of Beaumont’s hospital contracts with health insurance companies. A Michigan native, Jamie earned a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Western Michigan University. Jamie went on to earn her Master’s degree in Public Policy from Pepperdine University.
