CHRT Mission Statement

Capitalizing on the strengths of both founding organizations, the mission of the Center for Healthcare Research & Transformation (CHRT) is:

To encourage health systems transformation and inform the state and national health care reform dialog by promoting evidence based care delivery, working to improve population health, and helping to achieve universal access to care.

The mission of the center is carried out by:

Conducting research and designing, conducting, and evaluating health system demonstration projects
Producing issue papers or compiling existing research on critical topics in health care financing, delivery, and public health
Engaging in direct consultation with providers, payers, and relevant public health groups
Publishing and otherwise communicating the center’s work
Sharing the founders’ innovations as they relate to the work of the center
